it will lead to the collapse of the wobbly Hashemite monarchy in Jordan and the establishment of a Palestinian state on that nation's East Bank..."There is a Palestinian state - Jordan". Win, you do realize that Jordan had a major battle with the PLO over this problem and kicked Arafat out of Jordan to Lebanon. It is a major consideration. This last summer, about 80,000 Palestinians a month were moving into Jordan, and they closed the border. They finally made people coming in put up a $1400 deposit to make sure they would move out again. Yes, Jordan is a Palestinian state. The people are identical. They just can't handle all the Palestinians! Too bad.
