I still haven't seen my key questions answered anywhere:

Since a Special Ops action to remove Saddam is generally considered insufficient, it follows reason that additional officials are targeted. I'm curious as to who they are.

Will these key people be shot on sight or apprehended? Can we arrest them as per the Geneva Convention and will they be considered POWs? Will we charge them with war crimes? Do we dare release them, or will we have to detain them permanently?

And what about the lower-level functionaries, will they be arrested or caught and released?

I know some of our actions will be in reaction to what the Iraqis do, but surely we have contingency plans?

It seems to me that an unprecedented preemptive strike such as this raises many questions of detail that any thinking person will want to consider.
