And yes, he thought that were against the death penalty. The commandment says "Thou shalt not kill" and doesn't specify any exceptions. So that's how he thought the conservatives would be -- following the commandment to the letter. Obviously not.

You need to learn to think critically. Being "conservative" does not necessarily mean also being religious.... there are atheists, agnostics and all kinds of faiths among the ranks of conservatives....
