morning clappy-

during the last few days i've spent
a lot of time looking through a couple
of books i have - 'the home planet' and
national geographic's 'orbit' - looking
at pictures taken in space, of space, of
the earth and moon and reading the
heartfelt thoughts of various astronauts
and cosmonauts. and i watched elpie's
tape again.

without seeming to make light of the
recent tragedy that befell the columbia,
and the tragic deaths of 7 teenagers who
died in an avalanche in B.C. a few days
ago and the 7 who died in an avalanche
2 weeks ago, if i could choose the circumstances
of my death, i would choose to be returning
from a mission in space. for me, it would be
a perfect end, or perhaps, a perfect beginning.

i think i need an editor to fix my long
sentences.
