Well, Obviously if you bought the high of internet stocks in 99 you are underwater now- this is when you started you "contest", no? But gold is hardly a strategic long term investment either. I told you my investment plan, it will be very easy to determine who outperforms who. If gold say, triples from here then I suspect you will win the contest if you pick some highly leveraged stocks that can move with the price of gold. I think I'll get a double or triple this year on my trading portfolio if I can get within 20% of the war-related bottom.
