RE: "This is especially so for AMAT compared to other competitors such as LRCX and NVLS."

I am interested in your analysis of AMAT, but I am troubled by your placement of LRCX and NVLS in the same sentence. I have watched the industry for almost 13 years now and history indicates that NVLS is a first rate company along with AMAT and KLAC and LRCX is a second rate company. LRCX has failed in CVD and seems to be failing in CMP. It is a one-trick pony, etch. I listened to NVLS's CEO Hill talk about AMAT in the conference call. He isn't worried about AMAT's fragility or LRCX's CMP. In fact, the NVLS purchase of SFAM is probably a death knell for LRCX CMP.
