Safer than what? It's relative. If we had any other President, than Bush, I would say that Americans would have been in much greater peril than they are now.
Are we feeling safe? President Bush's decisive action, both in picking up hundreds of possible terrorists, cutting off terrorist funds, coordinating terrorist campaigns around the world, and trying to cut off the terrorists at the knees, as he is trying to do in Iraq, makes people feel safer, yes!

Are you saying that, if Bush had captured OBL, but let the terrorists and the Taliban remain in control over Afghanistan, that Bush would have delivered a great victory, and we would be a lot safer than we are now? |
