As I said, I found the first part "TMI," possibly because I have read most of it, in some form, before. However, you had read much more than I on this before, and found it interesting. Possibly I was distracted by the "Honeys" passing my chair in the Border Coffee shop.

I read the second part the same way you did. I am reading "Betrayal, The Story of Aldrich Ames, an American Spy." What is fascinating is not the Spy story as much as the BG it gives you on how the FBI and the CIA operate. A thin layer of hardworking, smart people trying to accomplish things, mixed in with a vast majority of time serving bureaucrats. These organizations end up running like the Post Office.
