Jagfan, when the original Bush taxplan was being bantered around there was some talk of help for the states. What happened there, maybe that could have been worthwhile.

Personally, a dividend tax cut doesn't really turn me on. It favors old economy companies for one thing... companies that are unlikely to hire much going forward... vs. tech companies who still have most of the future growth prospects.

I'm not saying everybody else should pick up CAs tab but maybe there are smarter ways to handle this situation.
