But Bill, as you are fond of pointing out, this is not a police action. It is an unprecedented preemptive military invasion that will stretch or redefine conventional warfare terms and concepts. We certainly ought to try and think it through.

Ever hear of the Geneva Convention?

Apparently, based on our post-Afghanistan prisoner situation, we haven't either. It might be a good idea to give this some thought, too, before the missiles take flight.

And actually, you are wrong about my never changing my mind about military intervention. The fact that I am trying to work through details of the operation would tip the astute viewer as to my leaning more that way than before.
