Q2 PC sales strong: techstocks.com Today is 1st day when Intel's new drastically lower pricing takes effect. Locally (Bay area), I had trouble buyig the SIMM PC boards to build some generic SIMMs i.e. the SIMM market has not only started moving again, but there was a surge over the last few days that took out all the local inventories and thus new supply had to be brought in from Taiwan. If this keeps up for a week or two, look for the 'bulge' of intermediate inventory to get used up and the spot price to start moving up. patrick tang
