Is self discipline a chicken or egg... self disciplin not just sitting down and eating X or X+2.... from a psychological standpoint the 'disciplined person' eats only X... that person also probably leads a very disciplined life over all with regular schedules, etc. Perhaps he can AFFORD it. This includes WHAT is being eaten and the time and knowledge to prepare proper meals. WHAT we eat has obviously changed tremendously. FWIW I dont' know of any social scientists who don't put these things right at the top of the list. Now, exuse me... I've got some overtime to put in to pay for that new SUV I've been a wantin. -gg- DAK
