"So those "men of character" would, by definition, include those individuals whose (stated) beliefs include this increasingly unpopular one: that Iraq's military and government should be brutally shredded by cruise missiles and guided munitions due to their support of terrorism, their having repeatedly flouted their agreed-upon obligations vis a vis disclosure where weapons of mass destruction are indicated, etc.

I think you them mixed up with men of evil character who murder and plunder without conscience. Stating your beliefs is one thing................believeing you have the right to murder on a first strike is evil. There is no self-defense in this case that can be justified on grounds other than opinion......................and opinion is spin. It shouldn't be so easy to cause so much pain.
