That applies to people in organizations too, I'd bet... After you get more than 10 people together, it becomes an exercise in "herding cats." It's really amazing that anything ever gets accomplished in any human organization. I think the 95% is pretty right on. A minority do the majority. In a good organization, they get recognized. In most, in my experience, they're the people in the corner doing damage control for "management's" stupid decisions and compensating for the general lack of expertise or ambition displayed by most employees "on the floor", and keeping the ship afloat.
