A/D. 98H-Y2K shows that you can have significant movements without confirmation from the indices. I am sure there will individual winners, and maybe a small stealth (cyclical) bull. The indices though are cap-weighted. I am bearish now, and if /when we bottom I would target tech over big-cap blue-chip. Despite the fall in the Naz, the Dow is relatively unscathed. 2003 - I believe will see The Death of The Consumer in The Economy, and The Death of The Blue Chip in The Market. Just my 0.02$ We appear to be close to getting a bearish cross in WEEKLY PPO-Histo.
