America has always stood against tyrants and for democracy, throughout the world. As such, America makes a lot of enemies.
America also makes it's share of mistakes. People like you focus on America's mistakes, and not on the good that America has done for the free world.

Your posts contain references to American foreign policy that may not have worked to well in the past. Your posts benefit from hindsight. I prefer also like to focus on the current and the future.
I can smell where you are coming from. You are going to beat the conversation to death with cliches about America's mistakes, and try to prove that if America was wrong before, then America is wrong now, and that, regardless of how much good America has done for the world, America's objectives are all bad.
I don't react kindly to that type of dialog. So, there are many more on SI, who will be kinder to you and build your ego, more that I will. |
