The hangover from the Clinton Bubble has exposed the fact that the tax code relies too heavily on deriving revenue from a select group of EARNERS whose income has decreased in the last few years (as a result of the hangover). Most Americans have not experienced a decrease in income, and therefore are still shouldering the same amount of the burden that they were before. The real shortfall has come from the higher brackets, where incomes have shrunk in recent years due to the falling stock market and interest rates. So, now people like you would like to tax this small percentage of the population, even more?????

There's no logic to it, but I can understand why you have trouble connecting the dots.
