I think he is as far to the left as you can get without being a card carrying Communist. He is an east coast liberal, if you know what that means. I have not read his books but have heard him on TV and he is very intelligent but his ideas make me cringe. That is just me though, as I am as far to the right as he is to the left. A difference of opinion.
