The world thinks he is a cowboy with an itchy trigger finger... Bush is something out of the wild wild west. Boy, you've fallen for the French/German/Democratic/Iraqi line hook, line and sinker. Have you read Bush's national security strategy? Did you listen to his UN speech last year? He's been right all along. Powell was more cautious in the views he voiced, probably because voicing the tough line was not his role, but he is clearly convinced. The Turkish government is convinced. Most of Europe is convinced. Those who refuse to admit that he is right are left with no arguments but ad hominem. And those who just want him out for their own political advantage would rather focus on how his boldness makes them nervous, appealing to emotion because they know they can't win on the merits. Bob PS: Do multinational corporations' revenue streams really take priority over the security of the US and the world?
