I'm already on record as opposing the policies of Saddam Hussein. Regardless of how much he looks like Jackie Gleason when flicking his cigar and no matter how much I like his tophat when he fires his weapon into the sky and all so much more--I, personally, don't like him and would prefer that a different leader be at the top of Iraq.

But if you read closely international law, as determined by the United nations, it's illegal to overthrow another government simply 'cause you don't like the man at the top of the government or the policies that stem from that government.

For the US to invade Iraq, without UN approval, this would equivocate to Iraq invading Kuwait. It's illegal.
