Nobody says it's not human. The skin cells I shed shaving are also human, and also have the potential to become an independent full functioning person.

And it is clear your skin cells do not inherently self-express human development and life. They are all terminal endings, unlike the conceptus. And they do not have the potential to become full-functioning people. They perhaps have the potential of being used to cause a conceptus, which has the potential.

That doesn't mean it is anyones responsibility to ensure that each cell does take up some more space on our crowded planet.

And now you should be able to see the flaw in your thinking.

What makes us us, is not our DNA, it is our self awareness and ability to reason.

This is completely arbitrary and most barbaric. You are here claiming that a newborn child is inhuman.

The objective fact is that human self-expression exists at the very moment of conception and no earlier. But you wish to completely ignore this most objective fact of our human nature and existence to make highly arbitrary determinations of when humaness exists.

That sort of self-ignorance is yet another reason why reasoned people must fight abortion. It arbitrarily condemns humans based upon non-thinking whim.
