Nope, you are wrong in equivocating the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait to our invasion of Iraq.

Wrong.

The rights of collective security and self-defense as given in the UN Charter provide considerable leeway for military action, especially since Iraq has violated the 1925 and 1949 Geneva Conventions, the Vienna Conventions on diplomatic relations, the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, the 1948 Genocide Convention.

Also the notion of "anticipatory self-defense" which was used in the NATO action in Kosovo in 1999.

UN Security Council Resolution 678 =authorizes= member states to 'use all necessary means to uphold and implement Security Council Resolution 660 and all subsequent relevant resolutions..."

It's already booked. You argue as if to say, "That cop cannot shoot at me. He never asked if I was a danger to him. It is illegal to shoot at someone, ever."
