JT, some beary good technical indicators, the put/call ratio is about to make a double bottom at the level last seen in the double bottom of May 96. The summation index is very high indicating market has good underpinnings and would limit the sell-off to 3-8% (per Frank Barbera LA Biz Channel T/A) Bernie Schaeffer commented on the sentiment indicators were similar in 11/96 and got a 3% sell-off, however only two months later we had the tech sell-off of 97' spurred by the networkers. If history repeats itself, that would put the major sell-off in September (when earnings warnings appear - this time from the boxmakers???) Comments on this scenario anyone? I really need a wolf call - baaaaaaad! -g-
