I saw the video on MSNBC (I think) but as a typical male, I channel surf the satellite feeds a lot, so could be mistaken. I think you can watch the wing tip in the close up shots even if not enhanced. It really bounces around. Looks like it gets sucked down as the tiles peel off, then bounces up and oscillates a bit after they release.

I think the big tank burns up or goes into the ocean: it is not recovered to my knowledge.
