I know...I always try to base my conclusions, on my own assessment. And when we talk about REAL seriousness, the ULTIMATE SERIOUSNESS, LIKE NOW, the bar IS SET so HIGH in MY mind...
Beacuse I was lied to during the Vietnam war by the "Gulf of Tonkin" resolution.. I will NEVER forget.. Especially when it comes to WAR.. And you know, the Vietnam war, IMO,
was another "resource(oil) war" because at that time, the South China Sea was thought to contain one helluva reserve of petroleum.. It didn't pan out, but what the eff, it was worth fighting for <NG>..
I know about the SOTU speech.. The aids initiative, etc.. I wasn't suckered.. I even mentioned that on SI.. I compared it to the Bush initiative for the "No one left behind education" thing which was never funded.. The aids thing was so transparent..
Anyway I post some from my education (for technical crap only), but mostly from experience and logic (common sense)..
Unlike many here who, IMO, do not make much sense,, unfortunately because they lack one of the latter TWO factors in the equation..The first factor (formal education) could be thrown out IMO when it comes to most stuff.. ..
Think "Think Tanks" with all those letters after their names and no sense in their heads.. That's why we are in this mess at this time, IMO..
