Who's stupid here?!?!?! Just because domestic production has been dropping DOES NOT MEAN that our reserves are in danger of depletion. This is the problem with most of you folks. You don't understand that PRODUCTION of less US oil is not a cause and effect relationship with regards to the quantity of oil remaining in US reserves. The cost of production is lower elsewhere, plain and simple. The oil is here, but at prices consistently under $30 a barrell, there is no compelling reason to tap our reserves. It is not cost effective. When will you catch a clue? ~SB~
