Actually, yes - they must have reached readiness sometime around that. 9/11 just happened to also match as a date that sounds symbolic.

Had I seen Velo's request, I would not have made my first post. This will be my last one on this topic here. If you wish to continue, let's take it elsewhere. I wasn't referring to 9/11 as the emergency phone call. Ben Luddite bemoans the failure of Islam to cope with the modern world. As a traditionalist, he believes the only acceptable Islamic state is the caliphate. In several references, he revels his sorrow at the fall of the last caliphate - the Ottoman Empire. Most scholars trace the decline of the Ottoman Empire from the Ottomans defeat at Vienna on September 11, 1683. While this date is of little importance to you, it isn't to Ben Luddite. Know thine enemy.
