Dont be obsessed with communism. It's practically extinct. it would be extinct in China too if they could think of something better to do. As for Cuba, where I've been several times, the place is stuck in a time warp. It's bizarre but no threat to us. Only to the Cuban people, though the poor are maybe better off, most people have a terrible time getting by. I hate communism. It is a lie. So is a right-wing dictatorship. And any subverted democracy. You would do much more good worrying about our own demcracy. we take it for granted sometimes, but it could someday be at risk. Extremists on the right are a bit of a threat now. Someday it may be the left. I distrust any extremes because in essence they are equally bad. Communism or rightwing dictatorships are actually remarkably alike.
