Thanx for that post; my ISP is giving me fits so
I can't say much.
If the crew had been told in a timely manner there
was 16 days to figure out something, and if it was
as bad as it now seems, I'm sure resources could
have been stretched a lot longer.
Who know but that a Russian ship could not have
been launched..
What get's me after seeing the foam/ice
thing hit the wing on launch , they acted like
nothing happened, and nothing was tried.
Management likely went over their canned cover
our ass routines just in case.
