I watched part of a French news broadcast, translated, on CNN. Lots of short interviews with men looking superioor,* shrugging, pursing their lips, and making that strange air-blowing noise they make while the subtitles said that the information could easily be fabricated.
As God is my witness, I will never buy anything made in France again, although I admit that the only thing made in France I have bought in years is Roquefort and Brie.
And the next time their tail is in a crack, I hope we remember this. Accusing Colin Powell of presenting fabricated evidence at the UN is something I expected from Iraq, but not France.
*Superioor is a typo, but I like it so am leaving it. Superioor means not bathing frequently enough, but thinking your bodily effluvia doesn't stink. |
