Enya sings in Gaelic, I think. That's why some of her music is unintelligible. When she sings in English, every word is crystal clear. No matter what language, it is so haunting it brings tears to my eyes. Some people call it New Age music, whatever that is.

Your archeologist friend would probably enjoy seeing a painting (actually a print, because, well, you know....) that I have on my wall. It is right out of his totem dream. I don't think I can describe it adequately, but it contains a totem bear, a brown bear, and a shaman. You can't tell where one starts and the other stops. They are one.

We have a lot of wonderful arch stuff up here. Recently they found a basket that was 10,000 years old. Fish weirs, shell dumps, campsites, petroglpyhs--the whole ball of wax. A friend of mine is the archeologist here, and I know one in Petersburg too.

If you refer to the originating message of "The Limelighters" thread, you'll see that the only off-topic subject is meanness. I have a broad range of interests, and it is very fulfilling to talk about them with you and others.

I wish somebody would tell me how to edit the original message. I am very embarrassed to have misspelled "The Limelighters." Actually, the true spelling is "The Limeliters."
