Jerry has a new thread now, and was talking about going away for vacation.

Stocks that fall below $5 and stay there are usually removed from the options market. It takes time to close out the open interest that had been created, and ultimately only closing transactions and expiration gets the job done. The MAR contracts and JAN LEAPS are the last remaining series I see quoted, and as you have been told for closing contracts only.
