That is, there is no downside. We will lose a few American military; we will spend some money. But in the process we will elminate a brutal regime, eliminate a nuclear threat, and stablize the entire region.

The downside is minimal; the upside is huge. A no-brainer.


That's the problem......a no brain would think its a no brainer. While you do have a brain, I think you may be letting the conservative pundits lead you along.......or your normal overconfident exuberance has taken over.

In reality, it isn't a no brainer.....and that's what conservatives like you can't see. However, Powell's sees it and that's why he wasn't for going after Iraq.

Bush is not too smart. He should listen to Powell more closely.
