Thanks SC...It's very late/early, so will think about it and respond tomorrow... I'm somewhat familiar with the concept of positive behavior modification...but then, one would think that the UN would have educated people skilled in that also. Doesn't seem to have accomplished much in the last 12 years. Saddam hasn't even kept his own signed to and agreed upon word.

It truly is hard to understand a despot who thinks nothing of killing thousands of his own citizens, including the children.

Seeing that bootlegged video on Canadian TV on International Cable News a couple of evenings ago was another eyeopener to me as well, and I'd bet would be to most intelligent people everywhere. It was from Iraq, ca 1991, and showed how Saddam and his officers treated the prisoners/rebels before they were shot....including kicking, stomping, and thumbs in eyes....then shooting them.

Hearing the words Mr Powell said today about the 1600 prisoners that had been tortured by Saddam, and used as testers for bio and chemical weapons is hard to deal with, at least for me.

But then, I've never thought that I could be on a jury where I had to swear to be objective if the case was a terrible murder with all sorts of evidence against the accused.

Probably my failing, but I don't even want to imagine what their "win" is....
