I'm somewhat familiar with the concept of positive behavior modification...but then, one would think that the UN would have educated people skilled in that also. Doesn't seem to have accomplished much in the last 12 years. But then again, we have not thrown billions of $ into it, either, like we have weapons development. It truly is hard to understand a despot who thinks nothing of killing thousands of his own citizens, including the children. Have you ever read the Bible critically? It endorses all terrible manner of behavior, from dashing babies' brains out on rocks to cutting off your own hand if it sins. And while I know that Islam does not follow the Bible, it also illustrates that this sort of thought has been common in the ME for centuries and is ingrained in their cultures. Probably my failing, but I don't even want to imagine what their "win" is.... I get your point, it might be gruesome. But then again, wouldn't it be illuminating to know for sure?
