Lone Ranger, Excellent points. the custom indicators are different in that they arent avail on free chart programs. It isn't that they are performing weirdly (word??). The levels that they are at in many cases are at the same bottoming levels as was present in October and July lows (apr and sept 01 as well). so either we crash harder than sept 01 and oct 02 or we are close to a IT bottom and bounce for a few months. Perhaps the added detail will make my point about the indicators a wee bit clearer. as for the flat in a downtrend i agree that the expected result is to continue the trend which is down. how long do we fail to break down when we "should" be? j
