What's so very important for begining futures traders is to do the research and understand the contracts that they want to trade and the way in which you want to trade them.

You don't trade the gold the same as you do the bean or grain markets. Nor bonds the same as you do the spoos...., and currencies are another challenge.

After that it's money management.
