I'd like to see this question added to any future poll:

The SEC and DoJ have devoted substantial resources to build what they now claim is a clear case of insider trading by Martha Stewart. Which of the following best expresses your reaction to hearing this news?

A. Ahahahahaha! See, I told you she wasn't perfect after all. I'd pay anything to see her in handcuffs. [In other words: who cares what you nail her on, just nail her!]

B. Wall Street is one big cesspool of corruption. By taking down Martha, we are sending a message to everyone that even you could be next. [In other words: deterrence works; make an example out of Martha!]

C. We've got people and corporations ripping investors off to the tune of billions (that's billions with a "b"), and we not only are tying up the SEC on this case but also now the DoJ? [In other words: OK, sure, there's smoke and probably fire, but why not spend the bucks going after the really bad guys?]
