Your argument might work a bit better if you were talking about Saudi Arabia. Oops, sorry. Forgot they are a US ally :-) But prior to that Turkey knew that a massive incursion into Iraq would give Sadam the right, under international law, to retaliate. Turkish army has done MANY incursions into Northern Iraq to chase PKK forces. The difference is an INVASION. That's what I was talking about. As in, taking over a country. As for the Kuwaiti PR - such is the way of life in the US. Truth is frequently sacrificed to imagery and emotionalism. And likewise throughout the world. So you understand now why myself, others, and the UN Sec. Council might be a bit sceptical about Powell's "evidence"?
