There is a difference between Zionist and Jewish. In fact, a large number of Jews oppose this war.
Public opinion is swayed by what is shown in the US media, which is saddam is evil, war war war, thus the support for Bush and the war. It's not the same in Europe where people have a more diverse view of things.
