James, Yes, I get angry at the water buffaloes forming a square to protect themselves from the predators who would fire than if they found any weakness. Reports hidden and found later, etc, when their existence is made known.
Typically they will have signed them, so wiggle is limited, their hope is nobody finds them out.

To be sure the people are not malevolent, but notice how they put a lock down on all aspects of the shuttle when they started the investigation.....as if they feared a cover up? Well those that are inquiring do indeed fear some covering up and concealing and other assorted wiggling and finger pointing.

Yes, inflight inspection robot with it's own set of micro thrusters caould have and should have been made years ago. Not especially high tech. Even EVA method to do it. Anything but this sad doom.
