I was also thinking about MSFT stock split. If it was to tank post split, it could do some serious damage to the NDX/Comp.
It is likely to get more volatile in the low 20s even though theoretically the split should not matter.
I am expecting MSFT to drop to $20 very quickly if it splits at about 23-25. A 10%-15% drop in MSFT could happen quickly...and would do some serious damage to the Naz.

(going from 47 to 40 seems more difficult for this type of stock than going from 23.5 to 20----the AMAT stock split comes to mind.<g>)

I recall split date of Feb 14...not sure though.
