Not funny really -- we quite needlessly isolated ourselves diplomatically on the issue of Iraq and it has been left to Powell time and time again to dig us out of the hole. We should never have been in the hole in the first place -- and that was my beef with Cheney because he did as much as anybody if not more to put us in that diplomatic hole.
