Ted Re...What do you expect him to say........"I don't want to but my boss is making me". Give me a break!

I expect Powell, as well as all politicians to tell the truth. What on earth makes you think Gw is threatening to fire Powell if he doesn't concur.

Excuse me.........Powell had two choices: quit or be a team leader. You decide which one he chose.

If given that choice, I have no doubt Powell would quit. I also have no doubt Gw didn't give Powell that choice. Provide a link if you have proof; and it had better be a good one. Powell right now has a higher favorable percentage than Gw. If Powell quit, that would devastate Gw, so GW wouldn't dare take the chance.

Interestingly, Corzine, the most dedicated peacenik in congress, said on Cavuto, 15 min ago. that he agreed fully that Powell, who briefed congress this AM, had presented a compelling case, that Saddam was in material breech, and Corzine himself, agreed that war would be inevitable, and right, with or without the UN. Also, he said, Blair wants another UN vote, and Blair believes there will be no vetoes, giving the US and Britian an unanimous vote.
