Mariusz,

I believe it is because the price of Next box was too high. It costs
more than 20K. Now, Apple's future Rhapsody along with hardware
only costs one eighth of Next box's.

Besides, Mr. Jobs' reputation was built on Apple, not Next.
Therefore, their combinations would make Mr. Jobs enter vast market
that has been established by Apple.

I believe the time for Apple's propserity has come.
