He's the most important partner there, and he has been *extremely* vocal about this. You just made it up, didn't you, that KPCB was behind options expensing. Of course "they" aren't. But in the outlying case that one person at KPCB does support options expensing, you would need to weigh that against the extreme sentiment that Doerr, their number one partner has against it. No VC in the valley is for options expensing that I know of, unless they want money from Buffett or some other one-off reason. And Doerr is all over every financial show, every industry talk show, everywhere very vocally expressing why it is a bad idea.
