Yes, it is. If our demand had been lower, then either they sell oil at a lower price or sell lesser quantities of oil at the same price. In either case, they will have less money than they have now.

That's not even the issue. Our demand was what it was; everyone in the world's demand was what it was.

Iraq was going to sell n barrels of oil that month whether they sold it to us or someone else. Who buys it has nothing to do with how many barrels Iraq sells.

Jeez.
