Other than having allies, I don't see how North Korea's problems are ours to fix. I think Kin Jung Il is unstable. As Joe Kernan called him today, "Michael Jackson with nuclear weapons." We didn't create the fix that North Korea is in. They did it entirely on their own. What are they going to do? Unload on Japan or South Korea? They have nothing to gain from that. If he's insane then I think it's up to his close ally China to fix. We'll stay involved because we don't want to be a circumstantial cause of South Korea getting hurt, but I don't see how there is any reason US foreign policy is responsible for North Korea's desperate state.
