Did you see Tom Brokaw on Letterman last evening? He was telling Dave about being in Iraq, and as he walked along the street, an English speaking shopkeeper caught his eye, and Brokaw said he got his cameraman to distract the "minder' for a minute, and Brokaw asked this guy what they really think, the guy started saying, "How soon can the Americans come?" stuff like that, and a crowd started gathering and the guy flipped and started saying "Praise Allah, with Saddam, we will fight to the death"..... Brokaw understands that what you see on camera, is not what is necessarily true in Iraq.
