Then it has been even more so in the past, before the Press had so much power to disclose disgusting
things.
And what has been the result- good or bad.
The US is running and funding some very valuable programs The school system in particular.Social Security
and retirement. Guarantees of bank deposits> Medicare and Medicaid. Veterans pensions and benefits
A supreme Military
Are the natives suffering ? Not hardly, but they are working hard
Many immigrants trying to get in and prosper, earn SS benefits , make good money or get education
Auto workers get 95 % pay for 2 years if laid-off . Unemployment benefits -property tax relief for the elderly
An even then running a big surplus before the 911 event.
And what does this do for our neighbors including Canada?
Its a mighty convenient market for your lumber ,wheat, gas, and maybe electric power.
You have as a neighbor a friendly ( well, mostly) hahaha that is willing to defend you ( since you have such a puny military) from any attack.
Or would you like better to have Bosnia or Iraq as neighbor?
